The IEHIAS has to focus on different user groups. These groups are:

 

•  Assessors of different fields who are not experts in all details needed for an integrated environmental health impact assessment will find guidance on how to use certain methods (Guidebook) and information on where to find the necessary resources (data, tools, models).

•  Policy makers, directorates and consulting bureaus will find results of carried out assessments to help them find specific information on a certain question in mind. They will also have the possibility to learn about the opportunities and limits of the methods applied to generate the results.

•  Students and all other interested persons will find guidance and resources to help them answer their information needs.
